ABOUT.

Welcome to my world of passion, perseverance, and a connection to the outdoors. While I didn't always consider myself a runner, my journey has been shaped by a deep-rooted love for nature that began in my childhood. From family gatherings in our local state forest to reluctant runs as a child, I unknowingly sewed the seeds of a passion I would later embrace.

As the years unfolded, running became my sanctuary—a means to release the stresses of school and a pathway to rediscover the beauty of the natural world. High school marked a pivotal moment where my love for science and physical education converged, propelling me into a dedicated pursuit in running, biking, and strength training.

I initally set on my first structured exercise routine was the gym, which evolved into a three-year commitment to pushing my limits and gaining strength. However, an innate desire for change led me back to my running roots. Today, I look ahead with no thought of looking back, my love for the outdoors and immersing myself in the trail running culture only grows stronger by the day.

My training philosophy is a reflection of my diverse running experiences—winter sees me embracing cross country and high volume, while summer brings forth the intensity of track workouts.  I always prioritise strength training, as this has been key to keeping me injury- free out on the trails.

Beyond the trails, my academic journey has been equally driven. I have obtained my Certificate IV in Fitness & Personal Training, Level 1&2 Athletics Recreational Run Coaching, UESCA Ultrarunning Certification and I am currently completing my Level 3 Performance Coaching and studying physiotherapy.

If you made it this far, thank you for reading. I hope we get to connect in the future!
